Digi Yaksha Foundation Inc.

This is a foundation which is dedicated to work for the greatest art of Coastal and Malnad region of Karnataka, India, which is called Yakshagana. Rich in culture, tradition and with a touch of classics, Yakshagana Reached a great height.

Digi Yaksha Foundation is incorporated as a section 8 company under Ministry of Corporate affairs on 20th April 2021. It is a very challenging time for Yakshagana artists who are dependant on their art and excellency to earn their daily bread. We wanted to help these artists.

Our aim is to preserve this great art for the future and new generation in its enthralling form. We should protect it from the influences of Cinema, pure classical music, folk music etc. Yakshagana itself is a divine art form with all the ingredients to fulfill the audience's aspirations with Vachika, Angika abhinaya, Vaadana, Nartana and Abhooshana.
